The above image is a portrait of Ralph Vaughan Williams from my series '52 Composers'. I made it using a combination of traditional and digital techniques. The background lists some of his best known works. I have made this portrait available in various formats and also on some gift items which will make unusual presents for music lovers.

ClassicFM's Hall of Fame
My favourite UK radio station ClassicFM has an annual Hall of Fame of the 300 top classical pieces as voted for by its listeners. This year Vaughan Williams's 'Lark Ascending' is No1 (again - it was at the top last year also) No3 is his 'Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis' (up from No10 last year) Unbelievable.
